Voting bug?

Situation:
I open 2 tabs, wbw hot or not and wbw personal member page (userprofile)
The statistics show:
user score: 9961
votes made: 81.400

To be certain, I refresh my personal member page a few times. Statistics remain the same.
Then I make one extra vote.

I refresh my personal member page and the statistics show:
user score: 9956
votes made: 81.358

Why are the statistics updated (downwards) after making 1 extra vote and not on opening/refreshing of my personal member page?

I have seen that before, that things only update when you make another one. It is the same for posts, or at least was at one point.

When an item is deleted it will accordingly remove the votelogs, because we cache the amount of votes you made it will not change the value until you vote again. If we would look up the results realtime it will drain our performance.
