Indeed, this was something that was discussed before the system was added.
I, too, was for a removal if votes were too high but after looking at some people profile, I figured out a lot of people were only voting 10 for pictures they really like and not at all for the others. So they end up with an average of 9.90+ and we can't really blame someone for doing that.

The idea to restrict the voting right removal to the relevant category is good though. I hope Diz is reading this thread

This is wrong.

Not only, as someone else pointed out, would the average be 5.5, but there are many, many pictures, far more than .1% that are not "well over" an average score.

And, well, no, you can't just "vote the way you feel" if voting that way results in the removal of your voting rights. This is a website that provides a service to you, and if you violate the terms of service set by the website it is free to prevent you from voting further.

I look at the properties on most pictures and I see several members that constantly vot a 3 or lower on every picture they vote on.. I just fail to see why they bother to vote at all if that's the best they can do.. on the same pictures a lot of the times there will be a lot of 10 votes on there so I know its a good pic....this has got to be depressing to the people that post these pics

Most mornings I sign into WBW and tend to spend around 10-15 minutes voting on the latest pictures that have been added. I think because of the time of day I sign-in, most of the recently added pictures have little or no votes on them whatsoever. Over the last couple of days I noticed a stream of recently uploaded pictures with an average vote of '1', simply because someone had logged in just before me and had literally gone through every photo voting '1', for about 50 images in a row. Now, these pictures were a very mixed bag, some had no faces, some were larger women, some were (IMO) beautiful girls who I would vote an 8 or 9 for (this is an example). I understand that some people have their own criteria for voting a 1, but not for 50+ images in a row. I guess this is why there is a automatic banning system in place to catch these sorts of people, but I think this particular member knew this and at the very end of his voting spree he added about 15 votes of '10' just to bring his average up. So there really isn't much that can be done about it as it happens all the time - it's not just this person. As I said to a moderator a few days back, one low vote on an image isn't going to make much difference overall, if a photo is a good one, it's average will obviously rise quite quickly over a few days. It's just a shame that we still get dicks here who vote this way.

What will happen when I buy Premium? THey have special rights. Maybe then I could raise my cars ratio and my voting rights will be restored?

Mods decisions or rights removal in general goes over the premium status so it won't change anything unfortunately.
Diz could add a fix to restrict the auto-removal to only one category (cars for you) but I haven't seen any fix in a long time now
