Iv uploaded this way plenty of times and not had problems.

It seems to happen randomly.

That being said, I haven't paid attention to which server I'm on when it happens, so I can't really make that randomness claim with 100% certainty.

it just happened to me too, and if i remember right the last time it happened to me it was same server : skywalker

edit: alice server and it done the same

edit 2 : worked fine on fefe server

From my experience, I always have troubles with Alice (server). I remember back in the day I used to switch to FeFe and then upload my zips without any problem.
A page stating the error (timeout, file too big, file corrupted, etc.) would be a nice addition.

I can confirm that. Fefe apparently never lets us down.

Can anyone post the direct link to the Fefe server?

The set i was having problems uploading i saw that someone else here had uploaded the same pictures so i figured he took them from my post and uploaded them. So when i tried to upload em it wasn't working. I asked him he never replied.

I am having the same problem... I am having problems with the Alice, Skywalker and Jamie servers. The problem is, even when I type in the URL for the FeFe server, it defaults to some other server (for example, I just tested it and got Jamie instead). It seems like the only time I can get to the FeFe server nowadays is when I upload to another server, it craps out, and then, refreshing the page... And then FeFe is finally there to save the day.

today i get this on skywalker server, trying to upload zip file :

Warning: zip_open() [function.zip-open]: Empty string as source in /var/www/wbwv5/app/controllers/pictures_controller.php on line 333

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /var/www/wbwv5/app/controllers/pictures_controller.php:333) in /var/www/wbwv5/app/controllers/components/cookie.php on line 20

Thanks for the link RL.

Same troubles here exactly as described above.
Damn Diz, time to give a statement or rather to correct this problem .

Fixed.

For the code monkies:
Seems like on default config, php5 with apache2, doesn't accept ini_set();
