uploaded 5 pics today and 3 of the pics have dissapeared of the upload queue can anyone shed any light on this for me please

It may take some time before your pic are approved. There are many pic-mods but people upload huge quantitys of pics every day. Ususally there are around 10000 pics at a time waiting. When modded all pics come up in random order so if it takes more than a week you are probably just unlucky."
And your pics were deleted, because they were copyrighted, pro or reposts.
