Upload problem

Ok, I've got a ZIP file full of JPEGs that I've tried to upload four times. I compressed it using WinZip. It's 9.17 megs big. I'm using Netscape 7.2 and I've got a sponsor membership. If I upload one of the pictures by itself, it uploads fine, but the Zip file just hangs for 5 to 10 minutes, then does nothing. What am I doing wrong?

Oh, and I've also tried disabling my firewall, so that's not the problem

my file is 5megs and it will jsut sit there and do nothing..eventually the file get removed freom the upload area but they havent been uploaded

i have had this problem before, i got round it by doing two things, making the file smaller, and renaming it, give it go. like i say it worked for me.

its to big
there is a problem with -zip files over 8 mb
i upload only zip they are not bigger than 6 mb
and it works all perfect

Splitting it so each ZIP file was under 5 megs did thetrick. Thanks very much! (bows)

Usually files up to 7 megs come through
