At the moment threads will be locked after 10 days inactivity. When is a thread good enough to lock? It would be sad it it's in the middle of something.
Yeah but it would save some space if it locked automatically after a set number of pages. What mod wants to read 29384759 pages of stuff in the same thread?
Some of the mods actually apply this rule in their portion of the forums, so it wouldn't be anything new.
I will talk about it with the mods what they think.. Technical it's possible and not too difficult.
Its a good idea, but I think ETV and the other mods have been doing a good job with locking the threads in Public babes when they get too long.
Why should they have to track all of them. They could be using the time looking for those threads to be finding the pro pics, copyrighted, and the duplicates. There are many different ways they could be utilizing their time. I am using this idea based upon the ETV idea of 50 pages for a thread.
Yeah they are. But like I said, they could be spending time doing other stuff. I am just suggesting ways to make it a bit easier. ten day or so auto lock and 50 page auto lock. That would be beneficial.
50 page auto lock is good, but why lock old threads? It may only have a few pages and someone may have something to add rather than start a new thread?
They already lock them with 10 days of no activity. But they could be unlocked by a mod if asked.
