The queue!

Question for the mods.

It seems to me that the "rate of aproval" have slowed down alot in the last week or two.

Have some of the mods quit? Or do we just have more people uploading more pics? Or is it something else?

back in the day it took the crew 6 weeks to check 200 pics that i send.


so today the slow is faster or slower sails?

I agree sails! I saw my queued pics are not approved or rejected in last week... maybe it's a lot of pics more in last days or maybe we are too much people trying to upload.
Anyway I see that medium quality of gallery pics is growing up in last period!

I also remember the good old days. But I still remember a vote on the frontpage asking what we wanted in the new version of WBW. And the aswer was faster pic modding, and we got it for some time! But it seems like something has changed in the last two weeks... Maybe they are on holliday...

Just had a quick look at the stats and they look roughly the same for the past 6/7 weeks. I can't see a noticable drop anyway. We did lose the biggest pic modder "Vic" beforehand so there was a drop then, but that was abotu 2 months ago.

So i would assume it's because there are more pics being uploaded. Also, since we lost Vic the queue has gradually been getting bigger, so as the queue get's bigger thigns will start to slow down.

I'm not sure what the solutions are other than modding more pics, but it can be a tedious job. In a small stint yesterday i deleted atleast 10 pics that had URLs stamped on them from less than 100 pics. Things would go alot smoother if people didn't upload shite.

Fair enough. Well I guess that aswers that!

well..

2 weeks ago, 12,091 pics were modded
last week, 11,929 pics were modded
this week so far, 6,231 pics were modded..

now, if people uploaded less shit, more of those modded pics would be approved pics and not so many deletions..

Vic was caught having anal sex with Senja. With reach-around. Diz was heartbroken. They started bitch-slapping each other in the office. During the melee Vic's pants fell down and his thingamajigger was flopping all around. Then Wortel tripped over one of the dolls they keep in the office and as he was falling Vic's flopping tubesteak swung up and smacked Wortel in the eye. Wortel lost the sight in his right eye from a pickle poke. It was all very dramatic and sad.

Vic apologized, and said that he was sorry, but things in the office would never be the same. It was decided that it would be in the best interests of everyone, and the site, if he were to resign, turn in his Official WBW crusty-sock, and move on to greener pastures.

Just reliving it brings a tear to my eye.
