The new movie section

Hi you All I have a question to you all. The introduced the new movie section and there is a poll that says you like it or you don't. I see that 35% voted for 'it sucks" and what i wanna knwo is why? What don't you like about the movie section and what can we do to improve that. I knwo that we have a big queue and we are working on that. I think the credt system sorks fine because you earn something back for uploading movies. I think you can rate films so you can decide if you want to watch them or not.

What is your opinion about it that's what we wanna know

exept that it take ages now to upload a movie, i think its very fine.

Haven't used movie-section much though, but the few times I did, it worked just like expected.

The fact that downloading needs more time, might generally slow down ppls interest, cause waiting is boring...

Waiting is not a problem just open another screen. We are working on extra servers so that everybody can download as many as they want. We hope to give more information within a copple of weeks.

On this moment the modding of the movies takes some time. we are workig 24/7 on it to get the movies on line. It's more work than we expected and not only that we got from you memebers more movies than we ever expected.

But what i need to know is that 34% thinks it sucks and i wanna know why?

prolly because leechers used to get the movies for free, without any effort.... now they dont

I think the movie section is terrific, but if I had to guess why some people don't like it, I think I'd have to agree w. burnstyle

yep, i think thats the point.

if you support this site, you have nothing to dislike with the new format. a giant step forward, its great!

well im sure it upsets the leechers... and they will want it to go back to the old crappy way
the easiest way would be to vote that the new section sucks


it dosent matter to me one way or another since im on dial up

but like i said...
there are alot of leechers here and they are more than likley the ones voting the section sucks

i wouldnt give to much thought to the percentage of that poll

the people on this forum that contribute and make an effort to keep the site going seem to really like the new section
and appriciate the effort the mods are putting forth

and hell personnally i think they are doing a damn good job with it to...

i'm currently having a problem with the movie upload. the progress window pops up, but i see no progress bar. and the main upload window times out on me. the progress window still refreshes tho. does it mean it's still uploading?

I agree with burnstyle. The 34 percent that commented that it sucks are probably those who used to download everything without ever posting anything themselves.

I wouldnt worry too much about it, as the contributing and regular members seem to like the section a lot, and it seems to be a hit. Nice work.

The new movie section does make it more difficult for leechers to get movies now, which is probably where the 34% comes from. The problem with this is, 34% fewer people may now think this site isn't as good, even if they are leechers it means less members, less traffic and less appeal to people who may want to advertise here someday? A site can't only be about the regulars, maybe it was the old way that brought in so many regulars? Just a thought...

well the leechers can always use yousendit and rapidshare. not to mention all the other great links people post on this site.

this site still has tons of free shit in it, and I always see vids in the movie section that are free..

In additon to leechers, you have people who just enjoy being negative assholes. Just look at the number of people who vote 1 on all of the front page babes

I've noticed that as well. It's nice to see. I started out as a sponser member here.
