taking the site offline...

Traffic is raising up to 3 gigs a day.. if i don't find a good sponsor i have to shut down the site. if anybody has some pointers here or there.. please let me know..

maybe i got a idear of how to keep the site alife.. and people who like the site just have to pay a small ammount of money.

The site will be totaly redesign in scripting if i want to turn this off

Is it actually legal for you to charge money for content you don't own? Sure you can say "all pictures are public domain" but you know as well as I do public domain is bullshit since the photographer or the person photographed has copyright on his/her pictures and most pictures are uploaded without permission from the owners. I did it as well so it's may sound a bit hypocrite. And you already had to remove some pictures because the person on it objected, so if you charge money the nonpaying copyright-holder can't even check if his/her photo is being used and sold. Sure most people don't know their pictures are on this site, but still I think they should have the possibility to object to being on this website.

Next thing is, how many people want to pay money so see pictures they uploaded themselves? Or want to pay money for pictures that can be found for free on the net.

There could be tried to be send money with paypal or something like that (donations to keep the site alive)

allready tried it, but nobody was donating.. and i can understand heralds points.. but i have to get some commercial,.. maybe the site will stay free.. but a lot of porn will be lost, and it will be more deticated to: Girls ( cute/sexy/beach/tigh asse ), cars, and more stuff boys want

Cause you could make one at Brinksters with your own ftp to store the files and all....

not with the bandwidth i use.
it's about 60 gigs of bandwidth a month

maybe u can pull out the option to view 30 rows of pics...its one click and viewing alot of pics...cauzez lots of traffic.
If pics are harder to reach, people will only come what they are looking for and leave the rest as it is.


Or only the pics from the last week are accesible...os something like that...people still have to come in regularly to see the newest...but not all are accesible..catch my drift? spread traffic...

Some pics are never looked at and that uses space(decreases cost a bit, cause you pay for space too)....

And about somethings only per week watch might not change the traffic, it can even increase it.... and per week and that will cost even more... (too bad fiber optic is not standard yet )

Well about removing the porn..... i wouldn't have trouble with that...
If i want to see that i go to cracked passwords sites or try to go by an backdoor....

I maybe found a provider that wants to sponsor me, i have to call them for some more info and to establish a agreement. Hope it could help to keep the site up!
