where can I find an eplanation of what all the symbols in the left margin of Forum mean?

Well, first you can see the flag of the users country and then the sign for male or female...
or isn't that what you meant?

do you mean all the little folder icons on the left of the topics like this... ???

if so... then, only going by the name of each picture here...

... folder
... hot folder
... locked folder
... new folder
... new locked folder
... new hot folder

if thats's not what you meant... then i've just wasted a lot of time lol.
