Super Slow

Has anyone else expierenced super slow download speeds in the movies section? I went from 100 + kbps down to less than 30 kbps. Its been going on for a few weeks now
Also, when im downloading at ( any speed ) i cannot go to another page, it will not load.

Connection Speed: 2.0mbps
Firefox

I cleared my cache, cookies and so forth. I can download at higher speeds anywhere else.


Just curious if anyone else is having the same problems

havent tried it but once in the last week but it worked fine for me

My suggestion is: open C (system drive):/windows/prefetch, delete all files (or at least more than 3 weeks old), reboot. I recommend that you do this every month.
BTW: Deleting prefetch files too often (Every reboot) can decrease system performance!

Hm...Weird, say from www.download.com i get great speeds, 190 kbps +
Here still getting slow speeds.
Did a full spyware search with spybot, adware
Virus search with Agv
Both came up with nothing
Ran Registry Mechanic, fixed 40 probs
Deleted my prefetch

Er...done everything i knew to do. Ah well i will just have to deal with it

If it goes down from 100+ to about 30 and you still can't go to another page you got to be downloading more than one movie at a time. If not, something is stealing your bandwidth. When I dowload it keeps a steady 60-63 and if I download another movie on the same time they divide that equally, and when doing that I also have a hard time switching pages.

Hm nope, only 1 movie at a time. and it goes from under 30 kbps and i still cant go to another page. I will figure it out. thanks for all the advice though
