hey guys, this is a newbie question. What special privilege does a sponsor member get?

You get personal communication with the head honcho.

But in all seriousness, how about whenever someone becomes a sponsor member, WBW sends them an email with confirmation of their sponsorship and all the wonderful details of sponsorship?
