Sponsor Issues

There might be an issue with sponsor crew members.

Not certain, but I think we might want to look into this.

hey, I finally made Demigod!

Congrats for your Demigod status bangles. (beer) At last, we discussed this at 2005, it finally happened.

I know, it took awhile... not nearly as quick as most of the newer Demi's
nearly 2 and a half years for me to make it

But I'm so proud!

I couldnt have done it without you all, and spamming, and the sponsor glitch which removed my powers...

System lost it because Crew member being sponsor?

Apparantly.

I had just finished buying a sponsor membership, and logged back on and my powers were gone.

Conclusion; Sponsor members are more powerful than crew members, because the system made you one. I think Diz never tested it with crew member being sponsor.

from my knowledge, v4 was supposed to support the sponsor/crew combo, but apparantly that didnt get dealt with.

I think the server handles it in the order that it receives it, since I was already crew, it had no choice but to "upgrade" me.

figured I should throw them some money because I was only a member for like a month and a half before becomming crew, so they never really had the opportunity to earn my money

I think that's the issue. It just overwrites the old position without checking what it is. Funny.

I'm still listed as a mod in bmf. dont have powers, but its pretty nifty.
