Slow site

Is it just me, or r the wbw site very slow 2 day ?
I try'd 2 surf around the site, but it took ages, every time I opened a new "page"
Btw I have a high speed internet connection, so it is'nt that !!!!

i'm on dial-up 56k and and everything seems ok

Well, statistics show that there were 112631 visitor on the site tuesday...
So that might be it

It makes me really fustrated...

You optimise a lot, and yes you fix it finaly.. 2 or 3 days later.. the site is slow again.. because the site grows so fast

Seems to be working fine now...
And has been working nice and smooth for the last couple of weeks when I have been here..

It's sometimes a race against the clock, I have to talk with my friend about mysql 4.0 upgrade.. That would boost performance by 200%

diz, anything that any of us can do to help? realize that i have no knowledge of computer operation beyond what sits in front of me but i'd like to help if at all possible
