Fine speed here.
And I'm not using Comcast.
We had a couple of emails from comcast users. That's why I asked.

Using Comcast. It slowed down drastically a week or two ago.
Why didn't you report this sooner? As we can look into it and try to find the peering provider that is fuckin' up and try to route traffic over different routes.

I am going to contact my ISP and notify him about this problem, hopefully it will improve quickly after. Thank you all for the patience.

I didn't report it because I assumed you were having a server issue. Didn't realize how it actually worked.

Yeah, you gotta understand how the internet works. It's immune to distance. It's not just a dumptruck. It's a series of tubes.

We will always announce server problems on the front page and in the forums. most responsible thing to-do.

Yeah guys same problem here. 25k downloads in California on comcast.

Bear in mind that Comcast is the same company that capped people's downloads without telling them, then denied it, then got caught - and then tried to apply a legal cap by manipulating their TOS and then got sued.
This is also more or less just Adelphia renamed (they were acquired by AOL Time Warner and Comcast and AOL merged them into Comcast which at the time, was far smaller than Adelphia).
Comcast is Adelphia renamed - and their track record shows it.

I have comcast too, but im in VA. I've noticed that the internet in general has been a little sluggish the past few days, not just on WBW. I'm going as far as not even using the WIFI at home, and using a direct ethernet connection to the router, which is usually fast as hell, and its still...meh, at best.
