so a question for the site....
You have "x" amount of new member per dy...and you are immediately locking all threads that are reposts, to some people they are not reposts, and if you are going to lock and delete the pictures of all these reposts threads, should ..lets say on the safe side, that ahhh 50% of pics poted in threads have been posted before, be it a week ago or 2 yrs ago...shouldn't all those posts be locked as well and the pictures be deleted? Just a question? As new pics as we all know are not that easy to find, especially on this site which has such a large volume of pics stored already. As i said am not complaining, is just a cut and dry question?

The pictures in the thread you posted that I removed and locked is extremely frequent and has been for a long time. And I just happened to end a mod sweep when I came across it which is why I happened to do it while you were still posting.

I don't remove all reposts, mostly just if they're frequent or if they've recently been posted. If the thread is based entirely of reposts like your was then yes, I lock and remove. You even said in the thread that the pictures was a repost, you should be glad I didn't send you a warning when I locked it for knowingly doing so.

I am well aware that new pictures are hard to find which exactly is why we remove reposts if possible, we would get flooded with them if we didn't by people who are lazy and just want points. Posting pictures is not a right you know, we do appreciate that you do but we have to keep some order in it too

I have posted quite a few threads. I post more than I look at by far. I get my porn from searching for pictures. So consequently I don't view a lot of posts. I have had threads that are locked because of reposts. If I am aware of this I will PM a mod and just ask them to delete a thread. Or if it is a shitty thread I will do the same.

You have to remember that there are a lot of new and young members here. All the porn is new to them. They don't have a clue other than they don't want to be a noob. So they post pics they think are good. Turns out that the pic has been posted and reposted. Not really their fault. They are trying, they just don't have the time here to realize that the pic was posted in the past.

And there is also another problem, I have a thread going presently that is about maxed out. Getting close to 50 pages. I have been working on this thread for about 6 days I think. I have looked at thousands of pics and I will not remember all the pics I have posted. So I might have a repost in the same thread. Stuff happens.

I know the regular members doesn't look through all of NPB just to see if a picture is a repost, and at least I very rarely warn someone for doing it. Pretty much only if they do it regularly, knowingly and/or systematically. Not even I remember all pictures I've seen here through the years and only remove them if I do know them. If someone else says it's a repost that I don't know of I usually want a link to where they're located.

As for your thread, I have removed just a few pictures in that thread, like two or three that I recognized. No problem.

yea dont sweat it bud. if you stay as long as some of the other guys you will start seeing repost as well.

and nobody is trying to fuck you out of anything at all it is there job to watch these things that what make this such a good place to be

at first i used to get mad and pm the mods and ask wtf is he thinking and that i have never it so it not a repost to me as well

but after a while i cought on and now they could not get rid of me if they wanted to and trust me they want to


do worry man it is all good have fun enjoy the good times post more if they delete it just say my bad and move on its is not worth it they win you lose and it dont even fell good
