there is no simple answer because any slight change is never slight, it causes a massive ocean of changes even the slightest difference. it changes the way we mod things, it changes how long it takes to mod things, it changes how many people it takes to mod the same amount of things.

not only that but it brings in all new problems and all new complaints from members besides the ones we current have to deal with and try to find improvements for.


the uproar from members, especially paying ones, would be absolutely out of control if we had a shitload of pics in the gallery with huge red X's all over them... for them to have to pass through all of those pics just to get to the good ones would be crazy, and unfair.

Ok.

- Every member can see the pictures he has uploaded.
They already can if they go through their profile page.

- If the member has not upgraded his membership, some of the pictures which require sponsor membership are greyed out.
The pictures that requires sponsor membership has their own galleries so why grey out every pic in three galleries?

- You could do the same thing with pictures that have reached the gallery, but are removed for some reason.
And why would people that cruises the forum want to see a lot of greyed out pics? I know I wouldn't. There are a shitload of pics to see than those removed.

Same as above. I don't want to see a lot of pics with red crosses over them.

And in the Alt attribute of the picture the original picture report description as Tooltip.
- You already have all the data. It's just a matter of generating html.
- No need for private messages or email correspondence.
- If a member wants to know why his picture has been removed, he doesn't have to contact WBW or start a new forum topic. He only has to visit his own personal upload page.
So you'd rather know why one pic has been removed than reducing the time for the good pics waiting in queue getting through faster? You really should get your priorities straight.

i just looked through your pictures in queue and cleaned out SEVERAL reposts, a couple of pros, including some pictures of Hannah which are banned from this site and she was underage at the time those photos were taken which means you were also uploading minors.

i hire new pic mods all the time and it takes them a short while to get adjusted and learn the reposts and such, so sometimes our lesser experienced mods let some things through... and our more experienced mods will clean up the ones that got through accidentally after they are approved. either by comment mods because someone points out its a repost, or by the reported pictures function or just simply by one of the other pic mods seeing it and recognizing it.



now that i've gone through your pics in queue and i know that you are pretty prone to uploading reposts, pros, even underage pics let me pose a question to you....

if you had 1 picture that had been deleted, and that picture had been in the top 10 before it was deleted... and so you were very upset about it.


if you DID have a reason for why that picture was deleted.... what would you then do with that information after you knew.


nothing, right?


so you can see that since there is no action being taken after THAT step (the step of you knowing), the countless man hours and effort that would have to be added (doubled or tripled) to our work load cannot be justified with you just saying "ok, well now i know"

Okay, I guess I was not clear enough.
1. I am only referring to the page: www.whatboyswant.com/babeoverview/uploadedby/1/<groupmember>
2. Other members won't see pictures with red crosses over them, only the ones who take the trouble to visit a member's uploadedby page.
3. And I did not know that pictures could also be removed based on ordinary "babe comments", but only based on the report button (reason and description).
4. IMHO my proposal will keep the current system as it is; Keeping the report button; Getting rid of unnecessary email correspondences about picture removals; But and that was my intention for starting this thread don't let the people who upload pictures in the dark about their pictures being removed (and again only pictures that have made it to the gallery).

I think you need to address your uploading tendencies. Perhaps you would like to explain why you uploaded underage pics? Or the reposts?

You're entirely too happy to encourage a change within the system the moderators use, but have entirely ignored the problems caused by the members who upload as you do.

I would suggest that perhaps you made a mistake in uploading them? Perhaps not, but perhaps since you can make mistakes you should allow the mods to make one or two as well? And be thankful that they are able to, and care to correct those mistakes.

And no, I'm not blaming the members. And I'm not blaming the mods who let the occasional bad pic through. Things happen, and that's fine.

And we deal with it when it does happen. I don't see why you are so intent to prevent the mods from dealing with the reported pictures?

Oh, and I'd be willing to bet that if I were to go through your pics, I'd find some pics that were unacceptable even after FeFe has done her review, simply because its a collective of individuals moderating the galleries, each with different experience and knowledge.

I decided to review your pics, instead of to just talk about doing it.
I saw at least 4 reposts, and 2 pro pics. And it's been a very long time since I've been familiar with the galleries.

I can only imagine what you've tried to upload that's been deleted. Cluttering the system with bad pics, and making it that much easier for another bad pic to get through simply out of weariness from having to moderate so many pics.

And also, you uploaded the same pic twice (they were accepted by different moderators 11 days apart.) Thanks for doing that, that's helpful.

Perhaps you should write some proposals for the members and yourself to consider prior to uploading?

My last proposal looks simple, because you have all the data (reason, description). It is no extra work, just a minor change in generating this uploadedBy page.

It is better to have some reason, then staying in the dark.

My first proposal with the email part in it did involve extra work. So it was a bad proposal, I'll admit.
The only reason for that first proposal was for example the situation that some evil-minded person could report a picture saying that it was a picture of his girlfriend, but in fact it was a picture of my own girlfriend
Or reported as double, but in fact it was a picture of the same girl but in a different pose.
But like I said, it was a bad first proposal.

The last proposal puts no burden on the mods. It's just a matter of generating a html page.

I apologize for hurting your feelings. Never intended to turn this topic into a personal attack.

For me it's strange to see that I have become the subject of a topic I started out myself with the only intention to make a suggestion for an improvement of the system.

Did you ever take my last proposal into consideration?
And did you follow the instructions in my last post to actually see what I mean?

If the programming effort is an issue here, then I'll be more than ready to do that for you.

Your last "proposal" is equally as bad as your first, there is simply no good reason for this site to continue to host pro pics and/or known reposts, greyed out or otherwise.

I know that it is no way possible for the pic mods to do what Magique asks, but it would be nice...

How about taking on some more pic mods? I could spare a couple of hours each week if that is of any interest!?

and a couple hours a week would not be enough time to dedicate for you to be a pic mod. this has to be like a couple hours every DAY.

we dont need anymore pic mods at this time though




the problem that he's bringing up is not us approving pics quickly enough, we're approving them plenty fast.
