Rejected picture

I tried to post a pic of a girl on the babe gallery, and i had to blank out her face (she approves of gettin rated, just doesnt want her face out there) and it was rejected... is it because i blanked it out?

How was it rejected? Did it say permanently or that it was already in the datapase?

Either way, post it in here so I can see it, and I'll let you know.

My guess would be it was rejected because of the blotched out face. Thats fine for thread uploads, but I doubt if they want those kinds of pics in the gallery. I might be wrong, but thats my 2¢

alright, makes sense... i wasnt sure when i uploaded it... but then i browsed throught some other pics and i found the odd one with a black bar across the eyes... but oh well, thems the breaks

well like I said thats just my guess, but Punly (or another mod) will probably confirm if thats actually the reason.

Don't see it. Try again attaching it again. If you hit preview, it removes it form the upload field.

if the face was blotched out....yes, thats why it was deleted. Unless it was a repost or permanently deleted.

Why would a pic be permanently rejected? I tried to upload a pic of my girlfriend (same as my avatar) and got rejected...

Some pic mods have a button we use on frequent reposts, pro pics and copyrighted pics etc. that causes a pic if uploaded again to be rejected right away. It will say so on the confirmation screen after the pic/-s has been uploaded.

When repost pictures are uploaded over and over, it gets annoying to keep deleting them. There is a special tool for certain moderators to permanently delete a picture based on its MD5 data. If pics of your girlfriend are being rejected, that means either one of those moderators thought that your girlfriend was a repost picture, or they have very similar MD5 hash codes.

To be honest with you, the one in your avatar looks like a couple of girls who are uploaded all the time, so that may be what happened.

Well it looks like it ended up getting accepted, but they removed the blur, which wasnt very nice, the whole point was she didnt want her face out there... is there a way to remove the pic?
