Reget Deluxe not always downloading

Hi,

i'm trying to use Reget Deluxe V4.2 to download movies. Firefox V1.5.0.6 amd Flashgot 0.5.9.995.

Sometimes the download will work, right clicking and selecting flashgot link, but a lot of the time it fails. I've set WBW as a permanent site in reget site manager, with username and password saved and login required selected.

I've also tried the automation tool in reget generating a filename of http://www.whatboyswant.com/Php/downloadmovie/$
and that sometimes works and sometimes doesn't.

I'm a sponser member so it shouldn't be a lack of credit.

Any ideas anyone?

Download managers don't work on WBW. I was told that there is a script that will automatically block and ban any IP address that is using one to download movies.

It's in place to keep people from ripping the site.

Oh, i found the post that said site rippers were detected by a script but I'm sure the same post said that download managers were OK. I've looked through the stickies and can't see anything to say download managers were baned.

It may have changed since then. I used to use one, and it stopped working after an update to the site. When I asked about it, I was told that using them would have the site automatically ban that IP.

I don't know exactly how it works and how it all goes. Just wait for Diz to see this topic, and he'll let you know.

Ok thanks I'll wait for Diz to give the definitive answer. IP is not banned and it sometimes works and sometimes doesn't.

There are still some issues I am trying to work out with download managers. I will do my best to get it working very soon!!
