Zarq thats exactly what I'm talking about. Only down for short periods so all the queues can be cleared then just dont let it build again so there are thousands of pictures waiting to be posted.

Oh, and by the way, I've also been waiting about a week for some of my pics to get posted. It doesn't bother me -- just thought I'd mention it.

I took a quick look. The top 20 have 3300+ pics in the queue.

I dont have a major problem with it... I do however get a little frustrated when I upload some pics and have to wait around abt a week, only to find that some newb has just uploaded the same pic as me but theirs get posted and mine deleted as a duplicate. (Had it happen a couple of times).
Not meaning to have a go, I do honestly think the crew do a good job... Just maybe some sort of first come first served rule should be put in place

WBW crew apologises for the current hold-up in the moderating of pics. Like one of the other WBW crew said we have two mods not working at the moment so we are a bit behind.
If you have any serious problems due to the delay, PM any of the crew and let us know.

I'm not sure about the Picture Queue, but I do know that the Comment Queue is not broken down by member, but by time the comment was made.
There is often over 400 messages in the Comment Queue - and they are done from most recent to oldest. So a comment made right now, will be at the top of the list.
Perhaps if Diz flipped the order, from oldest to newest being shown first?

Pictures are moderated randomly So more moderators can work at the same time on the queue.
The picture QUEUE is now about 10.000 pictures, and still growing. One mod is back on the moderator job, and we are busy recruiting one or 2 new picture mods. Stay tuned.

Most people who are picture mod mostly are people who have done allready a lot for wbw by example moderating or writing news. Because picture moderating is a job that needs a lot of time and dedication, so we select someone because we know we can trust him/her and have the time to help out.
