Questions about uploads

I submitted a bunch of photos. Five got put in a queue that says Altered/Photoshoped. Which is not in questions as I cropped her face out. Does this mean that they will not be posted?

If they won't be posted, how do I delete them? I see I can delete the rest that are still in the Manage Uploads, which I guess I will since we cannot post her face for obvious reasons (work, family, friends). But who can delete the ones that are in the Queue Log. If they aren't going to be posted, I will just like to delete them all and not post anything.

Edited: For clarification, when uploading it states "Do not upload inappropriate pictures, including advertisement, copyrighted, watermarked, revenge, fake, gross, and joke pics." So I didn't realize cropped pics would be rejected. Especially since the two that have already been posted are both cropped.

If you took the pictures yourself and cropped them for privacy purpose, it should be fine.
But if you find an existing picture on the internet and crop it (or if it was already cropped on the website you found them compared to the original) then they should be refused as "altered / photoshopped".

As for the queue log, it's only visible to you and the mods. The pictures themselves are already deleted, it's just thumbnails for you to keep track of your refused uploads.

. I am sure some people do. I am waiting on a response though from a mod to see if those are rejected or they still get posted. I don't know what the various stages are so I am not sure if they really got rejected. Others that are also cropped are still sitting in my submited list. If they do reject for cropping out the face, we'll have to find another place to post. Not meaning to be rude, just reality of not wanting to put anything recognizable to coworkers, etc. I guess I could just start taking pics from the neck down, but then it's the same result as cropping them.

And yeah, to answer your original question, pics that are in the queue log with a reason (in your case "altered/photoshopped" are the ones that have been refused. Now if it's actually you who took the pictures and only cropped the face for privacy reasons, just repost them as they shouldn't have been rejected for that reason.

The process is usually : you upload -> some upload may be automatically rejected (duplicates / pics too small / pics banned etc.) -> wait for a while (in the meantime, a gobal mod may do a first pass on your pics and delete some according to the rules -> remaining pics gets moderated and approved / rejected based on the rules.

I can assure you they are not thumbnails. Clicking on them gives the full sized photos in the Queue Log. They are most definitely photos I took. It just shows Altered/Photoshopped above each. I did use Photoshop to crop the images, so the label would be correct.

I guess I will just delete all the ones that are still in the Manage Uploads list and request a mod to delete everything else. If it got rejected once, I would think uploading them again would get the same result. Especially if it is an automated process.

So my Manage Uploads is now empty, I deleted them all. Could a Mod please delete the ones in the Queue Log and the two that are active?

It's not an automated system. Pics that are rejected after the initial upload passed are moderated by mods.
You only get pics automatically rejected right after uploading them and the site tells you if it's the case.

I restored the pics that have been rejected so they went back in your queue. You are then free to either reupload what you already deleted, or delete those too if you don't wish to upload them to the site anymore. Up to you

They got rejected again. I give up. Sorry. Can you restore them to my Manage Uploads so that I can delete them? Also can you delete the two that are currently active?

I can tell you categorically that the mods simply shoot from the hip when they initially review them. Same issue with my pics. Last time when some but not others got rejected as "celebrity/model" I started a thread here and asked how that determination was made. A mod replied fairly quickly and all my pics were then published including the rejected pics in the que log. Two things however: First, even though the pictures in the que log were removed from the log and published, the initial rejections still counted against me and lowered my stats. I wouldn't care except that this is one of the factors used in deciding the priority of pics to be reviewed. Second, I just submitted more pics, and some from the same sets that were just published were rejected. Excuses that the mods are doing their best are true I'm sure. But that just means that the system used is kinda hokey. The rejections are kinda funny given the sheer number of actual OF, etc. model and pornstar pics that are published.

I've got nothing against the mods. I am sure they are doing what they can with the system they have, but I had 5 rejected for being cropped. Then omuh restored them just yesterday, and now those 5 again are rejected plus 4 more are rejected for being cropped. So it seems there is no way for the system to know one mod restored them, so somebody else came through and rejected them again.

So, if a mod would please restore them to my Managed Uploads, then I can just delete them myself. I would also request a mod to delete the 2 that are already active. I just won't upload anything here any more. I won't be frustrated and the mods won't be upset that I am asking of them daily to restore pics that were rejected.

You have been a member since 22 Dec 2020 and have viewed 26,189 posts with an average score of 3.13. And this is up from last week when your average score was bumping along at just over 1. So what is the point of you being a member of this site? What is your motivation for always giving a score of 1? You are one of several members who are ruining an excellent site. If the images have been deleted for being cropped, then they don't need to be restored to your "Managed Uploads" section to be deleted by you - the log you are seeing is just there to show you what was deleted and why. So it's not in another queue waiting to be checked again, they have been removed from the queue.

What Omuh did yesterday was to try and help you because yes, some moderators see a clearly cropped image and delete them (as per our instructions). However if these images have been taken by you (and then cropped by you) then we should be allowing for that, but there's no way to know that at the point of moderation.

I went back to being a mod recently to help out Diz and the site, especially since I kept reporting pics for being cropped or pro. As you said, there are a lot of OF or pro stuff on the site, but to be fair you can't expect all mods to know all models especially now that some pro content looks more amateur than before (OF content for example).
Mods can use reverse search engines to look up the pics when moderating, but at the price of more moderating time.
I check every upload through reverse searches (unless there's something very obvious like a watermark, shit quality etc.). It helps find cropped pics and pros. But if the search doesn't give anything against the rules (and everything else is fine), then I'll accept the pic. I'd rather have some pros/cropped pics that are accepted by mistake than refuse some stuff by mistake.
Now if you see some stuff that shouldn't have been accepted, feel free to report it (with some info to help the report process) and it will be removed.

This has nothing to do with double standards. It's just different mods processing pics differently and since pictures of a same user can be moderated by different mods, you can end up with stuff like half a series accepted and the rest rejected for no reason.
I've described above how I work, but I know some others will for example not use reverse search thus letting through more cropped/pro content, or others will remove content without 100% being sure, resulting in some false positives (like the ones in this thread).

As for users being able to upload without wait or restriction, that's just simply false. The pics you see appear everyday from some of the more active users have just been posted regularely weeks ago too. All pics I've moderated since I went back to mod all had 2 or 3 weeks waiting time, including those from users who upload a lot.
It's just that instead of uploading a batch of pics, then wait until they're moderated, some users upload a small batch, then another one a few days later and so one, so that when it's time to mod them, they will regularely appear days after days. Just 2 ways of uploading stuff really.

That doesn't explain how 100 pics could be uploaded at the same time, yet it took 5 weeks to have all of them moderated. In the mean time certain members get 4 or 5 HUNDRED pics posted. You mods must use the same script because its always the same song and dance excuses why certain members get priority for their pics and can get the same pics posted that another member has rejected. Its as Insouciant said, if you have the pic rejected it counts against you, and the privileged members get the credit. That's why a lot of people refuse to upload anything anymore. Maybe if you start correcting some of those problems you wouldn't have so many complaints!!!!!

It will never be fair until all the mods get on the same page as far as which pics to accept and which to reject. Diz has been saying for two years he's going to write a new set of rules, but it hasn't happened yet.

Compared to the amount of members here, there aren't actually that many complaints. It's generally the same 4 or 5 members that have the same issue every single time this topic is mentioned. Some members, like the OP here, have a genuine question/issue and because they ask for help in a polite/mature way, a discussion takes place and things get sorted/answered. A select few members just choose to bitch & whinge without actually contributing/helping the site in any way. And even when things are explained to them time and time again, they refuse to accept it and clearly just want to argue for the sake of it. So their POV value is gradually eroded and gets to the stage where most other members just ignore them.

It still begs the question that if a member dislikes the way things are run so much, why do they keep returning and commenting the same thing every time? Talk about following a script...

And as for "a lot of people refuse to upload" - well with 13k+ images currently waiting to be moderated, I think the site seems to be coping with this huge loss.
