Question on Vote Count

My vote count drops everytime I log off (close my browser) I noticed once, and then have been looking to see if it happend all the time, and it does. I notice it drops down about 10 votes everytime, I don't think the overall user score drops, but I was wondering if anyone else has noticed this?

hmmm that's wierd, oh well.. i just figured it was a bug, and I wanted to see if anyone else noticed before I reported it

Has not happened to me that I know of. But then again, I am not very observant.

i've had it happen occaisionally, i think it's because pix get deleted, but my score doesn't drop

Mine goes up every time I log off.

tested it out doesnt happen to me either! maybe the system recognises when u relogin using a spoof account and deducts 10 votes?....for the rest of ur life......

Chances are that if you've rated a lot of the older pics, they were pros that are getting deleted. I havn't been working on it lately, but the last few weeks, I've been cleaning up the gallery by deleteing pros and reposts.

I think that Julle does the same thing so you may want to ask him if he's been deleting any.

Yeah, happens to me pretty often too, my vote count drops by 2-10 just about every time I log in but I was always sure it was to do with pics I've voted on being deleted instead of being hated by the staff

Deleting of old pics does it. Fefe or Chase told me that a few months ago.

It's suprising how many of the 2003 pics are pro models/copyrighted. I've come across and reported quite a few from the 'Hot or Not' feature

exactly...plus when pics reach the top 5..pic mods see them faster and get deleted.
also comment mods when going through comments see reposts and pros reported much faster
and delete them aswell....so you can imagine a few pics get deleted daily

That has happened to me dozen times. But yeah, the deleting of pictures may affect that dramatically.

as already said; it is the deletion of the old pro-pics.

those are deleted now every single day, whenever those are found by the pic-mods, or the reports have been found legit.
