Private Messages - cannot access

I have a notice displayed that says I have 2 new messages in the inbox. If I click the box displaying the notice or "Private Messages" I cannot access the new messages. I also tried clicking "inbox" and still nothing. It's not just the new messages that are not displayed, none of the old messages in my inbox are accessible either. I can access "sent items" and "history" though. Anybody else having this problem?


Edit: Maybe I should PM a mod about this.

I tried that with this browser but it didn't work. I have other browsers up with WBW, maybe I have to logout of them all.

Don't think that should make a difference. What server are you on?

Edit: Just for the sake of it, try emptying your cookies and cashe. That usually solves most other WBW problems.

No luck, killed all WBW browsers. Just started this one, logged on, cleared cookies and cache. It's still the same.


Edit: Well hopefully Diz will see this and be able to sort it out later.

Edit 2: After all that. I feel really stupid writing this. It turns out that the messages are actually there. They aren't displayed on the right where they have been in the past, there's just a big blank space there. They are displayed at the bottom below my buddy list of 20 mods, where I couldn't see them without scrolling down a page. I know for certain they were displayed on the right before. Thanks for all the help Ves, sorry to waste your time.

For having 20 mods on your buddy list you deserve the bugs.

You're probably right. I finally figured out what happened. When one of the mods left they changed their name to "+++++++++++++++". It's too long and messed up the layout so the list of messages got thrown to the bottom.

I mentioned that to explain the problem, now I know I'll get abuse. I added them a long time ago because there's no other way to know which mods are online.

That's odd, I thought it might be based on which theme you were using but I tried all three. Adding him screws up the layout and deleting him fixes it. It could also depend on the length of message titles or user names on the message headers.
