posting news items

How long does it typically take for a news item to get posted? I submitted a few things a number of days ago. Not a big deal. Just wanted to make sure these "important" articles weren't lost.

If they were copy-pasted from a news-site, they will never be published here!

And why?

Because it's a violation of the copyright laws! Just as posting pro-pics of babes.

But if they were written by you yourself , they get on the front page as soon as some news-mod has the change to read them and make his/her judgement.

Usually within 24 hours

And what I mean by writing news yourself, is that if you see a good article, you have to re-write it in your own words, you can use quotes as usual but copy-pasting breaks laws so it's not allowed here.

It only violates copyright laws if proper credit isn't given. But what you are saying is that I can write a bullshit story, pass it off as news, and it will likely get approved?!

Maybe i deleted them cause they wasent rewrited, you have to rewrite them not C/P you can't C/P A WHOLE article you can take a "piece" of the article.
