Pic Reporting

I was curious as to the process involved when a pic is reported. Such as who gets notified, who has the power to delete said pic, do forms have to filled out in triplicate in the WBW office, etc......

The reason I ask is that there has been a pic of zoey-model in the top 20 for the last three days. I have reported the pic three times (once each day) and yet it is still there. Is there a lot of bureaucratic red tape paperwork that is still sitting in the bottom of someone's inbox?

As to my knowledge only Senja and Dizzy have the ability to check reported pics.

Diz, Senja, and the coders Schaap and Jay have access to the repoted pics. Any pic mod can delete the pic though.

Where do picture alerts go, Site admin's e-mail? I thought it was a 'post alert' type thing where the alert gets sent to a thread in the moderator's room so any pic mod that is online at the time can check the thread for new alerts

yeah although processes are usually slow, they are especially so on reported pics... but to the best of my knowledge they do get fixed... (judging from my movie credits)

No, there are special pages for those.

Special pages where the post alerts go? Can't one of those be used for pic alerts?

At the site I work at a default account, just called 'admin', automatically posts a link and a quote of the alerted post to a designated 'moderator alert' thread in the mod room where anyone can check it and deal with the incoming alerts

thats how i handle all of my reports but movies.

and my movie reports are usually "WHO THE HELL ACCEPTED THIS!"

@ indinca- there is a special tab at the top of each forum where the mods can check all the reported posts for that thread.

The tab over a certain forum displays the alerts for that forum only? Sounds like a good idea, where I work just about all mods are promoted to 'site mods' after a short probation period (to see if they can handle the work) so anyone can take care of any alert coming from any forum, but here I've noticed there are more 'forum mods' who only look after 1 or 2 single forums so I suppose they only have access to the tab in their area?

Nah, it's not about the points. I just always assumed that when a pic was reported that pics mods were directly notified.

I used to do that. I'd report the pics first, and save a copy of the link. After a week if it hadn't been taken care of, I'd send Julle a list of pro pics to delete.

In two weeks I had over 500 pics deleted. Of course since hot or not is in order now, finding pros is much harder.
