Would it be possible to pay sponsorship directly to a bank account in Netherlands using international money transfer? It is free inside euro region, and I'm sure it would save Diz-X some fees.

Last time I used the tripledeal or whatever, which gave me a Finnish bank account, but a reference code that was INVALID IN FINLAND. It took a month or so before I got my sponsor membership. So I'm not going to use that service again. And no, I don't have a credit card.

I've heard someone mention getting a Visa gift card and using that.

I don't think there is such thing available in Finland.

Anyway, my original suggestion was the direct international bank transfer thingy. I don't understand why that isn't an option, as it would be easiest to anyone.

I think it would be possible to pay directyl to Netherlands, but I'm not sure if it's ok with tripledeal to do so

Hey that's a good point i shall talk to diz about it why not we have a bank account so it must be possible.

Wasnt this up for disscusion once before ? I think there was something that made Diz not to do it..

Otherwise find a member with a Visa card, that you trust, and transfer the money to him and let him pay for it, aint that possible ?

Atleast there was once the idea of paying directly to Diz, but he didn't want to give his own info for payments, therefore tripledeal.

But now that WBW is a company, I can't think of a reason not to get an account for wbw where people could transfer money to

Besides, small transfers inside EU cost the same as in your own country, in Finland for example, free

i think we use tripledeal also for anonymity so that you dont know who the payment maker is?

I'm not really anonymous, anyway (anyone who knows me recognizes me in my avatar picture, and why would I care about someone who doesn't). Yet I understand some of us want to stay anonymous.

However, I strongly believe that we can trust both the crew and the banks that our names and the stuff we pay are kept confidential. Besides, I don't think the direct bank transfer option would be mutually exclusive with the Tripledeal option, but I, of course, don't know the terms of the agreement made between WBW and Tripledeal.

Yet I would really like to renew my sponsorship (only two days left ), but if it would mean using Tripledeal again, I'll just go regular.
