not enough rating

I'm starting to get a little irritated by the lack of thread rating here. I mean, many threads have hundreds, even thousands of views. And only a few votes. Come on dudes, get of your asses and tell the thread starter what you think of his hard work. Diz put that feature here for a reason.

Problem is that people don't care.

This thread will get 10000 votes and others will get maybe one or two. There's no use in worrying about it.


Or, Diz could impliment the idea I had a while back. Have a section in your profile for the number of threads that you've rated like we have for the babes and cars.

Maybe even give it a point value.

Ive had two threads crack 50 votes, but thats about it. I try to vote on as many threads as I actually look at.

I think the key to getting a thread rated a bunch is to keep it going, and keep people looking at it. Other than that, people are just fucking lazy I guess.

my experience is at NPB: every 1000 views u get one rating.

But then some people might open all the threads and just hit the "rate" button withous even looking at it's content.

I usually just simply forget to vote, nothing more than that.
I'm not used to the whole voting function from any forums I visit, so I haven't developed a habit of voting on all threads I visit....

In the end like ev everyone always pointed out to me, this place is filled with leechers and lurkers, some of these idiots just need to f cking die.

Heres an idea, make this a paysite, nothing much, just like make it so everyone has to do like $25 [USD] a year, this way a sponsor membership doesn't have to cost so much and EVERYONE here will be here for the content instead of just leeaching.

This will work on so many levels, give free 1 year subscriptions to people who contribute lets say what ummm 25,000 posts a year (non-spam) $25 a year will basically seperate those who wanna be here and those who are just here to lurk or leech, and everyone would be a sponsor and you make the money you need to keep WBW up & running!

i usually vote the threads i moderate at tne npb, but i'll start to vote the other subforum threads as well.

But i agree on two things:
1) I always forget to vote for a thread...
2) I think people are damn lazy... They look at the pics and hardly ever vote or even post replies... A thread has to be kick started alive about 100 times before people start noticing it.

Either that or you call the thread "Britney spears/Ashley Simpson/J Alba Nude video" and ull get enuf attention off the bat.

a lot of work goes into posting some threads. especially page after page of babes. it's rewarding to see rating and comments. i like to let the poster know their work is appreciated by rating and commenting

I must admit I am new so I was not sure how often we should vote. I visit two other forums for other stuff and if you vote more than 5 times a week they go nuclear on your hindquarters so to speak, hence I will try to use my voting power (with your permission of course)here more often. Part of the reason i did not is because I did not want to be seen to be boosting my rating with ratings and voting alone and getting a whack in the back of the head for it as I have just figured out the ancient art of hotlinking.
