New Poll Idea

How about we change the poll system from being based on the top of the thread, and instead put them inline on the pages.

That way someone could have two separate polls in one topic, and even more it would allow any poster put a vote for content being put on the page or pages. i've seen it done at others sites, and it works well and stimulates user interest and posting.

So basically, setting up the poll option to be available under the advanced reply window.

I would love to see an example of that.

...the same site also has mid-thread polls, but their search function sucks, so I'm trying to find one. I'll post it when I get it.

Awesome idea Eric. There's been more then once I've wished I could add a poll after I already created a thread or add one somewhere. I'll co-sign for this idea cause I think it would be a major improvement to WBW. Good one Eric.

the second last post in that thread is what I'm talking about too...having the ability to post a poll in an already ongoing thread.

I think that's a really cool feature, and it seems like I'm not alone. Hopefully we can do something like this in V3.14159 or whatever is next.

version 5.3 is being worked on and all features that will be in it are already planned.
We are now planning 5.4 with it's new features and stuff.
