New Colors

Who decided it would be a good idea to put dark colored text on a black backround? Surely this is an oversite and will be fixed quickly so I won't have to get nose prints on my 22" wide screen every time I want to see which forum I'm in, or who posted the message.

The links are orange.

Stop using IE already and use a real browser that can actually handle CSS properly.

So convert to a real browser, IE7 and IE8 will be forced on you soon enough.

Looks great on Firefox 2 and 3 beta 3, also IE7, not tested on IE8 Beta 1 yet as i dont have it on desktop yet just laptop. Looking good though

Very specific? hehe.....sooooo firefox in v2 and v3 beta and IE v7 is fine so....possibly not THAT specific

My point is that eliminating one in three internet users from using the site in a fully operable way is a horrible business model, and the fix is not turning to your customer base and telling them to "Upgrade or get the fuck out."

I know what you mean Eric though i think most will have gone either IE7 or Firefox by now, but yeah i guess sticking to standards has some merit, but ho hum, works in all i use :P hehe

Not that anyone cares, but the new movie gallery also looks stupid in IE6.



There's been a lot of talk about WBW losing members and traffic lately, yet nothing is done to fix serious compatibility issues with a major browser. How many new visitors are going to join a website that loads pages more slowly than dialup and looks like the caps I've posted? How many have left because of it?

@ Sartori2006, apparently you didn't read my 2nd post. Browser statistics vary considerably, but most sources show that IE6 still accounts for 25% to 40% of internet browser traffic.

i use ie 6 and firefox and i have no trouble and i get my internet via satol light

As I already said, I will do some fixxie fixxieee if I can get my hand on IE6 again..

For the record, there are only 16% of the users using IE6 on whatboyswant.com and this is going down every day fast.

That's because they don't have a choice if they want to be able to use WBW. The only reason I have FF is for WBW. I use IE6 for everything else.
