ok i think i might have a stupid question...i deleted my old avatar becasue i found a new one. i edited the new one to the standard limits to fit. when i go to edit profile to edit avatar i click on the browse button and then on the picture i made. then i click on update profile and it all goes through but i still have no avatar....isnt there supposed to be like an upload button or something?.... please help

You can hover the mouse over the new avy and check the dimensions its gotta be 270 x 100 or smaller or right click on it, scroll down to properties check the "bytes"! they have to be at least 15,360 or smaller (The maximum size of your custom image is 270 by 100 pixels and 15360 bytes whichever is smaller)
Or after you click update profile, then hold down control and hit F5 to refresh the page. if that don't work I don't know!?

After looking at the avy you posted, everything looks like it's well within the limits so I would suggest hitting F5 after updating and it should show up. Sometimes after updating mine, I have to do the same to see the changes.
