Hello guys and girls, a while ago my neighboor alowed me to take her pic, but... some turned out way too dark, i tryed to enhance it as good as i could. Can anyone of you help me enhancing it further or do anyone know a free tool i could use to make the pictures better?

Well, i got many pics of her, i just wanted to enhance my bad ones too
BTW.. light was on but those pics was taken with nokia, the one i took with sony ericsson is way better...

I did that with Paint.NET (a freeware photoshop alternative)... the 3 pics i posted are the same picture (the one to the left is the original) but the picture gets a lots of noice if i make it too bright.

As a professional photographer, I'd say you did the best that can be done. The image is already far beyond the repairable level of noise. And all of the image information appears in the lower level of the histogram scale. It's just too dark and too compressed to fix more than you have. There's not much else to do here, sorry. What they do on CSI isn't real.

Use Gimp 2.0 then under Images go to Adjustments then levels. That way you can slowly stair step back to a normal spectrum of colors.
