need help...

It wont let me upload an avatar without putting in a new nickname...whats the deal...how can i get around that?

There was a thread with the same problem a while back, but I don't think it was ever fixed.

serious? damn..that means im goin to have to change my name every time i change my avatar

Just change it back again right afterwards. Maybe Diz will see this thread and figure out what's wrong.

glad i don't plan on changing my avatar, if it's fixed post how to do it just in case.

Well like I said I don't intend to change mine, lick the fly off the wall is my speciality.

you need to cuz yours is just ugly and to wierd for me it freaks me out!!!!

Sparkles — If I'm not mistaken, you should be able to get around that whole problem by wiping your cache/cookies.


So, empty your cookies folder and refresh the page. If it's not showing the new avatar the first time, refresh the page again and it should be visible.

If that doesn't solve your problem, I'm not too sure of what will.

^^^ that was the first thing i tried..the problem is that when i go to edit my profile the nickname box is empt(always) and when i put in an avatar an hit update it says i have to put in a nick name first...but when i put in my nickname..it says that that name is already taken....therefore...ill need to change my name everytime i wish to get a new avatar...

Could be due to the quotation marks; that usually works for other people..

i changed my name too, means that i cant change my avatar? i havent tryed it, but i have a new pic, maybe i bring it on soon..or try to

I changed my name once, only for a few hours but still. I change my avatar every once in a while without any problems.
