When we were on the old site, I could go to my page of favorites and find all of them. I could then (using my trusyt FireFox) open each pic in its own tab and then wait a second and they'd all load. Then I could browse through the full size pics one at a time on my browser and it was all good.
On this version of the site though, if I try to open so many as 25 pics at once in separate tabs (easy to do in some of the big threads or when viewing galleries and favorites), it starts locking up and bogging down, as though it's constantly trying to load things for each tab all the time rather than stopping once the picture loads.
It inevitably locks my browser up, and makes it so I can't view the pics the same way I used to.
It's kind of a bummer. Just puttin' that out there.
"Simple is better."
"Works" is often superior to "fancy."
Can someone explain why this is happening, or perhaps offer a remedy? I really liked being able to pull up one tab for each of my favorites and leave them up while I browsed. And... Once the pic is loaded, why does it continue to use resources for these pages?
