Movie Gallery

Why does the number of movies added change regularly, even when no new ones have been added. Example, earlier it said there were 171 added, just now it said 158...what is that all about, just a gliche?

I think it has to do with what time of day it is. It calculates the total for the week, but when its a new day in Holland, it changes. Keep in mind that right now in the Netherlands, its after 1AM. Its just after 7PM where I'm at.

Is that sarcasm, or stupidity? Trust me, its a different time in Holland. Its' almost a quarter to 2 in the morning.

I'm pretty sure the problem here are the time zones. When it past 12AM in Holland, the oldest day in the week was removed from the count, and the day that it just turned becomes part of the week. Since no movies have been modded yet on that day, the count drops.

You're right, its the same tima all around the world, there are no timezones. I'm sure it just happens to get dark during the day, and people sleep during the day over there.

You know, while your at it, maybe Diz should fix on the front page, under the statistics header, where is says local time. That can't be right, it has to be the same time throughout the entire world.
