Movie Caption Help

Ok I am downloading a crap load of movies, I am curious as how to get vid caps so I can post them once I have uploaded them to a 3rd party then post here, I don't want to post vids with no captions because I would prefer people to know the vid they are downloading and make sure it's what they like....

Use BS Player or VLC.

you can do screen caps with vcl? damn i learn something new everyday.

I have no clue wtf those are lol, I thought there was a way to do it with like "printscreen" or som crap like that

vcl media player. google it.

theres gotta be an easier way, I used to do it when I cammed with girls on paltalk, it was like ctl+? or somthing like that it would capture the frame with I could then save the picture(s) and upload them, I can't afford to download anything else lol

Printscreen doesn't work always anymore as most current players use a new Direct-X mode (VMR-9) where the video appears as a black area if you try to printscreen it.

For videos I'd also recommend to use BSPlayer http://www.bsplayer.org/. With BSPlayer you can set up a directory and a naming pattern for your video caps and just press 'P' (or whatever you want to configure it to) to get as many snapshots you want as either jpg or png files in this directory. Besides that it's a nice little skinnable player that loads pretty fast and is a good choice for a default video player on Windows. It can also play wmv files and unlike the MS player it does so without opening any embedded spam website links.

Another alternative for screen captures is SnagIt http://www.techsmith.com/ if you want to make screenshots from more obscure players or any other program you like. SnagIt is also great to record entire webcam sessions and even works well with yahoo messanger which terminates itself if you would press the printscreen key.
