Most video has audio out of sync

Hey guys,

I was wondering if the problem was localized to my PC, or if this were a known problem? On most of the videos, the sound is completely out of sync!

What video playing software are you using?
I Suggest you try doing some testing to eliminate things.
Try playing a know good dvd movie and see if its screwed up.
also try a different video player , I use Gom player downloadable for free from http://www.gomlab.com/eng/GMP_download.html give that a go and see if you still get the same problem.
if a good dvd plays out of sync and gomplayer works fine, you can start suspecting your video player.

The audio is out of sync even when streaming, but I don't get any issues whether I play a .avi, .mkv, .mpg or whatever else. I tried VLC, Gom, Zoom Player Max and WMP. No other video have this issue.

Are you using Windows Media player? if so what version??
