Moderation

What has happened of late with moderation on this site ?

Underage , AI , pro models galore.
Lots of images I have posted have been declined as they are refused as pro model or celebrity , yet images of the same girl are accepted.
Reported images many times of Under age and yet they stay on the site.
Yesterday there was an obvious AI image of what looked like 14 year old posted on here.
Things have gone downhill rapidly.

Usually reports work pretty well to remove content that shouldn't be there.
For pros, the best way to report them is to add a link to reference the pro model or their name.

I think I know which AI pic you're talking about, I've deleted it, but if there are more, feel free to report those too.

Reposts are hard to get unfortunately. Sure exact duplicates are detected by the system automatically, but if the picture is cropped a bit then it will reach moderation and well, nobody knows the full WBW gallery nor are reverse search engine perfect to find cropped pics.
I can confirm you though that a LOT of pics are rejected because of that.

That isn't true. I have reported the same images many times and they are still on the site.
I also have comments relating to underage girls removed from the pictures themselves.

Yes, duplicates are indeed detected automatically...

Some of them I report, some of them I don't even want to... Waste of time. I didn't get a reaction from the moderators on many of them - just a slight cut and the moderators remained silent. Could it be some sort of automaton and not a thinking human being?

A question from a different angle: why a large number of reports of combining photos in a series have not been supported for many days. I have over 200 of them - they have been waiting for a long time.

Do you mean you have linked photos together and are waiting for them to be approved into a series? If so, there are 2000 such images in this particular queue, waiting to be approved. As with the main upload queue (currently with c.20k images) it takes time depending on how many active moderators the site has in a particular week.

Yyyy yes, but you cropped the wrong photo.

The older photo included in the gallery has disappeared, and the younger photo remains (i.e. a duplicate).

Always delete the older photo that is 'original' (new) in WBW, not the next one posted after it.

The other huge issue on here is the sheer number of fake images whereby clothed pics have been altered to make the girls appear naked, not by AI but by standard digital altering means, and often so easy to spot, its becoming endemic.

Before I came back as a mod a few months ago, I used to report a lot of pics and they used to be dealt with rapidly. I don't handle reports anymore so maybe the queue is longer now?

Exact duplicates should be detected automatically. But if the picture is slighlty different, like being cropped, even a little, it won't be detected and will reach manual moderation.
Also, this system wasn't there years ago, so if you find exact duplicates from a few years ago, that's because of that.

As for how reports are dealt with, the mod reads the report, checks the content and takes actions if necessary but you won't get feedback about it. It would otherwise be too time consuming.

We don't always remove the most recent one. If both pictures are identical, yes, the oldest one remain. But if the two duplicates are cropped differently or if there's one with a way better quality, then the uncropped/good quality one will stay.

From experience, I don't find it to be a huge number of pics compared to other reasons for rejecting pics, but there are some photoshops indeed, either to remove clothes as you said, or morph the body or, more often than not, to swap the face.
In any case, those aren't allowed indeed so feel free to report them and if you can link the original (non-photoshopped) picture because you found it, then it's even better.

I have a couple images that were declined as celebrity/model, but the images are not found with google reverse image search or tineye.. A couple can be found on the only other site I uploaded them to. And what does "other" mean? How does someone decide a Selfshot is model or other, if there is no evidence of it in a reverse image search?

Does anyone know if linking a picture in one series to a picture of another joins the two series together?

Reverse search engines aren't perfect so it's possible the pic doesn't show there but the mod knew the girl is pro. Or it could just be a mistake. I've quickly checked the last pics in your queue that were rejected as pro, some I couldn't find, but others were onlyfans models.

As for the "other" reason, it's for reasons that aren't listed in our tools but still are against the rules.
I use it for : sideways/upside down pictures ; kid in background ; girl that is of questionable age without being obviously underaged (to not give too much penalty to the uploader) ; pictures that don't belong on a porn site (people fully dressed in plain clothes without anything erotic at all etc.) ; and more recently, AI pictures. There may be other reasons but those are the main ones.

This happens a lot to me.
That's why I don't post pictures anymore.

2 possibilities :
- the pic was indeed pro and was correctly rejected, but the other went through the moderation process because the mod who accepted it didn't recognise it as pro (in that case you can report it and it will be deleted)
- your pic was mistakenly marked as pro

Keep in mind the moderation process is manual and mods only have their personnal knowledge and limited tools (reverse search engines) to work with. So it's often possible that a mod knows a pro model and another one doesn't so a same girl can be rejected/accepted depending on that. It's not perfect, but a good way to keep the gallery as amateur as possible.

I quickly checked the last pics rejected as pro in your queue : most of them are onlyfans model, with the occasional pro models for websites. So they were correctly identified as pro.
