Mobile friendly version?

I love this site. I've been a sponsor several times, but I'm on my iPhone most frequently and I can't do as much as I'd like.
The biggest problem I have is watching videos, that is to say that I can't. I know that an app is out of the question, but has there ever been talk of a mobile friendly version of the site so videos can be watched on smart phones?
If this has been asked or addressed, please let me know or tell me where to go.

I use my iPhone a lot too, but I'm not a sponsor and not really into watching videos anyway; however a mobile version that is trimmed down a little would be a welcome addition.

I did ask this question probably a couple years ago on my first account, and they were considering it then, but I guess they haven't had enough requests to justify a redesgin for a mobile version.

We've asked about it for future WBW software upgrades. I don't know what the status of that is though.

I had talked to Diz about that in like 2007. From what I remeber, he thought it was a pretty good idea, just wasn't the right time to implement.

Maybe we should have a mobile/low end version of the site for smaller screens, and that could be another sponsor member privilege..

I'd pay a few bucks for the app... Let's pipe up about it!(ignore)

We are working on total redesign of WBW. The design will be very plain and simple. As the current design is way to complex. New design will be much easier to use on the iPhone, even support for the playing movies on the iPhone with the new webplayer.

I am currently working on another project, that will be finished in a month; after that I am going to redsign WBW. I think a lot of people will be VERY happy with the new design I will show.

A way to upload straight from your iPhone would be a good feature too .

If we design a lighter weight version, we will support populair devices. suchs as iPhone/Andriod/Blackberry
