I have noticed that since WBW started to promote registrating (to view pictures and files) that a lot of people have been joining with rather generic names with occasional numbers attached to them. They show up and post a request, they get what they want and they never come back.
It's rather disappoint people can be like that, they just take and leave. I was wondering if Diz-X has considered adding an IP banning feature for those who post requests, take the pictures and never return. That and delete the account automatically. That and people with the same ip who have multiple accounts have their accounts deleted. I have a feeling that a lot of people are using multiple accounts to make posts.
You can hide your IP I think.
why would you make multiple accounts ?
Hornyone, don't encourage them.
We still havent figured out why they would create more accounts..?
Surley to God people cant be that simple not to think of that. I thought I was just stating the obvious. Just pointing out that I am sure there are people here with more than one name and account. Also I forgot to add in my post that I agree something should be done if it is at all possible
Understood you just fine. The three you posted had 0 user score.
Horneyone, just because you are assigned a "new" dynamic IP each time you connect doesn't mean the same one will reappear later. There are a total of 4,294,967,296 possible IPs with IPv4. Now it may seem that thats a lot of possible IPs, but not even a fraction of them are used. To save processing time for ISPs, they often restrict the group of IPs to keep things faster. It saves a lot of time just to pick an IP out of a small group than a large one.
Now User25bg: You can hide your IP if your machine is not making any requests, like downloading information or trying to contact a site. But when you make a connection to a website, or any kind of service like p2p, or s2c, your IP is given to the host so that it knows where to send the appropiate information to. Otherwise, you'd never get a response from anything.
If you use a VPN (Virtual Private Network) which is a Router that serves as a fake machine that internally sends and recieves the data between the user and the servers. VPN's often hide the internal network's IPs so that its near impossible to know there is more machines behind the router.
Hmmm
1st Mickey_Nesager - you are not right. One of the acc you pointed was online when I checked his profile. Probably hi just want to see some naked girls and go. No need to post or upload to be member of this site.
2nd Sptman - if you use proxy server you can have different IPs.
User25bg: You can still block the proxy's IPs as well.
Sphtman, didnt really follow what you said as I am more into the hardware end than the tech end, but I read it as you agreeing with me that I get a new IP every time I log in, and because the group is small I might get the same one again (maybe) after I sign in say 1000 more times.
And then you just need to restart the PC or disconnect from the internet and you will have new IP.
