Liability of Posting Girls photos??

can you get in trouble for posting pics...non pro... on WBW? Ive posted a few of a friend of mine, and in an event she finds out can i get in trouble for it? besides her kicking my ass.

Nah, unless you took them outside her window while she changed or some insane shit.

I've wondered that too, I have lots of pictures girls have sent me before, but I'm too scared to post them incase I get banned or something, haha!

Without a signed model release, it could be a problem. Unless the individual involved is a public figure.

I hate the whole thing about model releases thing. I did some pictures with a girl that were taken by my husband, and then I fell out with the girl, so I wasn't allowed to use them... even though I was in the bloody pictures and they were taken with my camera!

I was under the impression that if you took the pictures or arranged the shoot then they were your property?

because its too hard to obviously verify the legitimacy of each picture thats posted here we generally allow all pictures unless we recognize the girl as someone who is pro or semi pro, or even just some chick who has her own site that someone might have taken the pics from.

otherwise in the event that someone does come on and say "hey thats me! wtf!" we remove those pictures immediately.



its probably a good idea not to post pictures of someone you actually KNOW (in this case, knows you well enough to get you in trouble) unless you actually know they dont mind. :P

Legality aside, you can post them. As long as they are hotlinked if they are pro, it's all good.

I didn't think you needed a model release unless you were profiting off of the photos.

If they're pretty post away. If they're ugly, you should probably get permission from them, their parents, and their 3rd grade guidance counselor first.

I would NEVER post someone's photo's that they have sent me. NEVER. Legal isn't the whole issue...ever hear of ethics and morals?

Haha yeah there's that too, it wouldn't be worth losing their friendship over, even though they're super hot and I'd want the whole interweb to know how hot my friends are. *show off*

First of all you are protected by privacy laws here in the netherlands, we will never give out personal information without a judge his approval.

Second, we haven't heard of anybody got sewed over posting pictures/movies here.
