just a thought

Earlier today the forum was flooded with numerous "worthless" posts, all created by the same individual. They were worthless in the fact that they either had nothing in them, or they contained 1 single pic.

Now the thought that came to mind was "i really wish the frontpage would show who the topic was created by, so i could avoid it altogether." I normally will dwell deep into the forum and not just be a "frontpage" surfer, however on occasion i'll just make a quick stop in and see what's been going on lately.

Has there been any thought to incorporate "who the topic was started by" in the last forum posts area of the frontpage, in future upgrades? I'm not sure how ff and some of the other browsers work but with IE if you scroll over the title of the thread it will show 1) the entire name, if it's too long to fit in the space and 2) which section it's in.

If you mouse over a topic on the front page it will show a tooltip with the title and location. I just use http://www.whatboyswant.com/forum_topics/getnew/ to check new topics and that shows the author.

yeah it happens, never claimed to be the smartest noob in the forum. Was just a thought, not a very well thought out or researched thought but a thought none the less.

more so, it the fact that at least this one had the intent on improving the site. And along the way 2 people (and i'm sure there has been more) have learned something. but thanx for asking.
