Is this feature possible?

I was wondering if there is a way that a feature could be set up to tell us that you have gotten our comments and the report when we report either a picture or a comment in a thread. Just a quick PM from the server telling us you have received it or that there has been a comment received for the offending comment or picture. Then when the problem is taken care of, a quick pm from the mod that took care of it or looked into it. This may stop some of the reports that are useless or the ones that get reported 13984873498734780 times. I understand that sometimes with the reported picture or comment, there may be nothing wrong, so a quick pm response from the mod would keep the report from being made again.

Just a thought.

Repeated reported items are basically overlapped onto each other. Its not much of a worry, we almost always get your reports unless there is a serious problem.

How are we to know that you handled them or looked into them?

We always go through and clean up reported topics, you should have no doubt in your mind.

Yeah i know that you do. What happens when there is something reported in error? Or how do we know that you necessarily get the reports that we send in?

i stopped to report pics cos it seems no1 cares about....wasted time.

This feature may help to get people to report some of the shit they see here. Both in pics and comments.

We always get the reports unless you end up with a fatal error page stating that there are too many connections. In that case just PM the moderator of the forum, or a global mod and point them to the thread.

you get them, ok..but maybe the remembrance of a few picmods is very short...every week come the same pics of the same underage girl on, but, hey...its not my problem..

Trustno, we know there has been a rise in minors being posted. Just as I stated before the Non-Nude went up, it'd definitely increase. We are working to keep the forums clean, but things take time.

I still think that members would report more stuff if they knew we actually got the notification...

When I used to report pics I would save them in my favorites. When they disappered I knew they were taken care of. They were always deleted within 24 hours.
