is there a way to turn off the smilies?

im connected via umts and it takes for ever to get them loaded each time i want to post something.
please help!

if you use firefox or safari download the adblock extension and add this :

http://smilies.whatboyswant.com

to your custom blocks and it blocks all similes on any page.

Yeah, you can do that.

Or you can just wait until Diz releases the next version which is supposed to have an option to turn them off or hide them or something.

Well the idea of the new version is that you can turn a lot of stuff off or on Make it as plain simple as possible or as advanced as you want it to be.

it seems that adblock fucks up the facebook chat and message system.
so im back at square one.

Adblock works nice to me, no problems in facebook or elsewhere..

I dont have any issues with it but if you have the ad block plus pop up add on installed as well .. disable that as it could be causing problems
Otherwise just turn adblock off and on .... So when you visit facebook turn it off and when you go to WBW turn it back on

thanks BWT and all the other that helped. i did just that and it still fuck things up permanantly, so that i have to delete cache and cookies everytime. guess ill just have to live with the smileys for now.

im glad it works with you guys. in the facebook help section are a lot of people that have a similar problem.
in the end its always stupid windows that messes things up...
