By installing GD you have the opportuniy to set the avatars and images.
When a user uploads a avatar or a pic it automatically reduces the size (pixels) or the size in kb to fit the settings you have...

GDLib is allready installed an used for babesection/carsection/forum.. As for now I am not going to add it to the avatar thingie at the moment.. I could put it on the todolist.

also on the part of stuff to do with the website, i just read a article on slashdot about the performance of the linux kernels. 2.6 kicked 2.4's ass in server-related tasks. something crazy like around 40% better.

I keep loosing my point all the time.
Yea having GD at the Avatar upload aswell is userfriendly

And is there a slideshow function?
Ex. Hotkeys? Maybe a sponsorhisp function in the future?

I have added that resize avatar thingie to the todolist.. I think it will at first only support jpg resizing..
