you cant cancel your membership...just take out all personal info from your profile if any and stop posting/logging on.

If youre worried about your sponsor account and do not wish to renew it, then let it run out..but it wont re-charge you, once it runs out it finishes and to get another you must re do it. So as long as you let it run out it wont re-sign up for you.
