when someone uploads pics, we keep a tracker (Diz, can you code that?) for how much pics have been deleted. at 10% he get's an automated PM to stop uploading illegal pics. at 25% he can't upload for a week (which is mentioned in the PM aswell). at 50% he wont be able to upload anymore. the reason for this is that I'm getting sick and tired of the pro pics.
this is also mention in the office, placed here as a reminder

While I agree with you that a tracker would be effective, especially since I hate pro pics, I believe you would need some sort of total upload qualifier in the equation. For example, if a newbie uploads two pics, one of which is deemed to be pro, you have disqualified him from uploading any further because he has met the 50% level.

See the thing is about this is that if someone uploads a pro pic, yes you could count that against them, BUT, if they upload a pic that is not pro just simply unacceptable (i.e.: blurry, not enbough in the pic), would that still count against them?
If you did implement this into the system it would just be another thing for the pics mods to have to worry about when deleting a pic.
Which would deem the user queues useless.

waste, you could've said that in Office but hey... no problem

YES, it WOULD count for pics like blurry, bad quality, too far off, etc. Upload good quality pics or don't upload. I'm getting sick and tired of deleting thousands of pics just because they're not good for WBW, whatever the reason may be. Any Jackste...erm -ass is capable of knowing what a pro pic is and what not, or what a reasonable quality is or not. Do note that we have let some really poor quality pics onto the site already. personally I don't think it contributes to the overall quality of the site, just the quantity and that's something we're not lacking atm. So this can be seen as an effort to upgrade the quality of the site aswell.
Like Jackster said, an upload qualifier or whatever you would want to call it (some point where a person goes over a limit, after that, this rule starts to play) would need to be implemented. I'd say a minimum of 50 or 100 pics. Upload that much and this rule will be applied. would be simple to code I think .
