Kanzen, I have one piece of advice. In the 18 hours since you have been been elevated, there has been an ENORMOUS increase in the amount of flame/hate/bile in the Lounge. Whether you have deserved it or not is beside the point. Your elevation has apparently triggered it. GIven your status, you are in the best position to stop it.

So, the advice. KEEP YOUR HEAD DOWN FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS!!!! Just do the job the other mods have assigned you. If it is excellent, that will speak for itself, and this nonsense will then die down.

As for the others, Gaso, Kyosho, I am NOT trying to denigrate your opinions. But I AM TRYING to get the hostility factor down. The decision has been made. Give him a chance.

Sorry guy's but i have to agree with gasolin 100% because yeah we have all broken some rules but come on the guy joins wbw on june 17 and already has over a 1000 post's and that is not spamming? not as angry as gasolin just a little pissed.

So because I have a high post count from talking that makes me a spammer? By that very same logic your post count compared to join date would mean you're pretty antisocial.

I just want to clarify that the thread that I created that jbecause linked to a couple pages back was not meant to be taken the way it seems. I was not angry about being passed up or something, and it was not meant like that.

I got the idea for it from how some of the members were upset about this decision, and it triggered me wanting to give people something to talk about, as I have been doing with my last couple of threads that seem to have been well recieved. I never claimed I could do a better job, or was mad because no one asked me. Im not like that.

I have told diz-x, mickster, senja, and wastepants that if they ever needed me for anything (modding, help, etc) i would love to offer my help, as I have a crapload of free time in the evenings and could do alot of work, that I wouldnt mind doing. I enjoy this place and the people in it, and it would be a labor of love.

I didnt get a response, so I assumed I wasnt needed. But I in no way wanted to make a statement about me being a better choice than anyone. I offered myself out of respect for this place and its members.

If no one took it that way, I am glad and am sorry for wasting your time posting this. If you did, understand that im not like that.

don't get me wrong guy's im not here to flame kazen he is funny most of the time but i also understand gasolin's anger.

I can say that I disagree with the way Davialla (sp?) is basically telling people to choke it down, and if you dont like it go away.
