How long does it take to get pics approved?

If one mod can catch it by reverse image search, or some other means, then why can't all the mods use the same system so that doesn't happen? Yes, reverse image search is great. It's not perfect, but it's great. It gets less perfect when images have been altered. When it doesn't pull up a pro as being a pro, that helps explain how one mod will approve a pic where another one will reject since the one that rejected a picture may be relying on memory. It's just one of the several ways that a human element is at play for more than just judgment calls on underage or not.

And, of course, the need to reverse image search will greatly slow down the entire moderation process in the first place.

It doesn't matter to me if mods upload pics, but when one of them is averaging over 20 pics uploaded per day when there is such a backlog of other members pics in the queue, it kind of seems like all they're doing is using that free paid membership to pad their stats.

As for images being altered, I was told by more than one mod that the system catches "ALL" altered/photo shopped pics. If that's true, then cropping or altering size shouldn't matter. You can't blame it on human error if the program is as good as they say it is. If it takes 2 to 3 weeks to have pics approved/rejected now, I don't think reverse images searches would slow it down that much, but at least there wouldn't be pics approved that were rejected for someone else.

Again, there's the human element portion. Mods will make mistakes from time-to-time, and I'm sure you know that and are generally fine with it. But for example, there's a pic on the front page right now that's trending that doesn't pull up anything (aside from a link back to WBW) in a reverse image search. But I know that's Brooke Marks because I recognize the set. So two mods could see that pic and one could approve it because the reverse image search pulls up nothing and they don't recognize the woman, whereas the other mod will reject it. Same pic, same system, but different result due to the human element.

I'm NOT a big tech guy, but I don't think that the system can catch all altered pics. Someone may very well teach me something new on that one, but I think you may have been misled if someone told you that the system can or will catch all altered pics.

We can agree to disagree about how much time would be added to a queue review time if pics are not reverse-image searched v. all pics are reverse-image searched. Without a reverse image search, I think I would take 15-20 seconds per pic on average to review once I look at the picture, check for watermarks, check for minors in the background, determine if it fits the other rules, see if I recognize the woman, etc. With a reverse image search, I'm doing all of that and then more than doubling the review time by the time search loads and I check out the results. It would be substantially longer than that if there are a lot of results, but nothing that definitively says who the person is and whether she's pro or not.

I can easily understand that, but someone, Diz, needs to tell certain mods to stop putting out bullshit information.

Here again its the mods putting out bad info to the members, and no one has ever explained how if the system can catch a photo as 'duplicate' for me, why will it get uploaded by someone else later on? The excuse I got was the pic was resized, but at the same time I had other pics rejected as altered/photo shopped that showed up on other members uploads. The exact same pics. If the so called system works so great for one, why doesn't it work the same for everybody?

You had pics rejected because of a mods 'personal taste', same here, but why should a mod be able to reject any photo without a justifiable reason? That smacks of favoritism also.

3 or 4 weeks later they're accepted and my acceptancerate is higher than 90%
My uploadstatus is changed and from now on I can post 1000 pictures evey month because I'm in the highest group....
I have 20 months left to reach 12K of pictures (21 months -1 when I was only able to post 100)
So it's possible you just have to see that you keep minimum 90% of acceptancerate....

As I see it there are 3 situations where duplicates are handeled...

1- you upload pictures and the systems finds out those are already on the site they get rejected immediately , they don't get in the queue (the only way the system can find out a duplidate). System is not gonna find the cropped pictures just like reverse search don't find them...
2- picture is in the queue and gets moderated , moderator has already seen this picture here before so he refuse it and flag it as duplicate.
3- picture was accepted and is reported by another user. It gets removed and flagged as duplicate

So what you're saying is a new member can get their upload limit to 1000 just by having a 90% approval rate in their first 100 photo upload? That is sheer stupidity! Its catering to all the newbies and screwing all the long time members. No wonder I'm not the only one who refuses to upload anything to this site!

no , I'm saying that if you get 90% of approval in your first 100 you get a uploadlimit of 1000 pictures , if you don't keep a high rate in your next approvals your uploadlimit will drop down to a lower group...

That's exactly what I just said! By letting new members jump from a limit of 100 to 1000 on their first upload this site is screwing all the long time members.

If I upload 100 get in the 1000-group and upload 50 more and and they're all refused my uploadgroup will already have been changed and will drop down dramaticaly...

Do you actually believe your explanation? Just how dense are you? You're trying to tell me your upload limit and group went from 100 to 1000 after one group of photos? As for upload stats, I can do the math you moron. Justmee has over 12,000 pics uploaded and he's only been here 21 months. That comes out to an average of about 20 pics uploaded every single day! Now if what the mods keep saying about the queue having 13,000 pics in it and it takes 2 to 3 weeks for pics to be approved or rejected, how in the hell can that be possible without his pics being given special treatment? All you have to do is look through the new babes pics for a few days and you'll see the vast majority of the members with the highest amount of pictures uploaded are people who have been on the site less than 3 years.

@ Justmee - I really don't care how long you say you've been here. I checked your very first photo posted and it says uploaded 1 year ago so your profile and saying you've been here since 2003 makes those statements seem pretty fishy. As for your so called 'trick' to upload so many pics, that's bullshit too.
All you mods keep harping on how the queue has 13,000 pics waiting to be moderated and hundreds more being added each day according to Sentinel.
OK if I take the mods words for this how can someone average, that's average 10 to 20 pics per day being uploaded? Here is how I see it.
If my limit is 100 pics and I upload 10 pics per day for 10 days I'm done. Now I have to wait 2 to 3 weeks for the first 10 pics to get moderated. Follow me so far? Now I can upload 10 more pics, but they're going to be behind all those hundreds of pics other members have been uploading every day I didn't upload my full allotment. It may get me 1 or 2 pics uploaded each day, but it sure won't get 13,000 pics loaded in 21 months! Even if your limit was 1000 and you uploaded 100 pics per day, your pics fall behind those uploaded by other members the previous days. If the pics are supposed to be so randomly sent to the mods, how can one member manage to get over half and sometimes 3/4ths of the pics put in the babe section that day? Its even harder to figure out if the sentinel is being truthful about "hundreds" of members uploading pics each day.

Here is what I think:
1) This site doesn't have all the thousands of members it says it has. Want proof? Go to archives and the first year this site was up. Start checking which members uploaded pics and their 'last on line' date. There are a hell of a lot of members being carried that haven't logged on in 5, 7, 10, even 15 years.
2) I'm betting the total active members who log in each day is probably less than 300 at the most, and all of them aren't uploading pics every day either.
3) All the mods keep saying 13,000 pics in the queue. Fine, then why is there hardly ever more than 20 to 25 different members getting pics uploaded? I'll
bet over the last 3 years you can't find 10 days with more than maybe 50 members with pics uploaded, and even then the majority of them are always going to be the same people.

When I first joined this site there were a lot of different people uploading and there were a lot of different kinds of pics. Now its becoming instagram 2 with all the fashion pics or those looking like store window manikins. I'd like to see this site get better, but every time something is said we're called complainers and all we get are smart ass answers from the mods. Diz said a month ago he was going to ask for suggestions, but he must not care very much because I haven't seen a damn thing from him in the forums section about it.
