I have had quite a few pictures deleted for no apparent reason. Even some of my wife, that I took and were deleted because it said "model." I mean she was flattered, but they were one's we took ourselves.

there is a woman, when she was younger she made some videos. they are nice and they have been uploaded here.
years later, she created an account on wbwcom and uploaded current photos of her, I recognized her from her handle and body-type.
then she reported her pictures to be removed, she deleted her account. if I am correct, only "active" members can use the private messaging system.

How is one an active member? I tried using the messaging system and it says only active members. I have a profile and login. How do I use the messaging?

it's when you have participated in content creation or website interaction like posting images on the forum or uploading images that get accepted. only then you unlock the messaging system. It's a precaution against abuse.
