Help on new post

When I first come on line and go to view new post I will get all the new list. If for some reason I log off and then come back quickly, all the new post are gone. Is there a way to retrieve them without going into a forum search or have I lost them??

do you have to type in your name and password each time or does it log you on automatically?

had to sign in again. I was looking at the days post and hit the wrong button (dumb) it had seven pages of new post and I was on page 2, when I signed back on it said no new post since last log in??

try making it so that youre automatically logged in when you open up the site, that usually fixes that problem

Bummer, I hate when that happens.

I am still a nOOb, how do you do that??

check the boxes that say remember my name and password or something like that on the login screen

I know what you mean, did that, but it still lost it.

I know it has a good history, but in todays world, it's been tainted and perverted to stand for something it was not meant to

It usually does the same thing for me. Every once in a while it won't lose it, but most of the time it does. Maybe it depends on how fast you log back on?? I think for the most part though your just screwed if it happens.

Maybe you should look into what that flag actually stood for and what they were fighting for and see if it is very different from what America is for or against and if your only reply is slavery, don't bother me again. Besides I was asking for help on something not your opion on the Confederate flag.

Off-Topic: The Rebel Flag stands for the same thing now that it did back then. It's only the racial pricks that can't handle the real turth. I still use one as a curtain for my bedroom window, and have a nice soft Rebel Flag blanket. (Nice avatar, by the way.)

On-Topic: I've also experience this problem, and say you pretty much have no other choice other than visiting the forum topic to view the new posts after this happens. (The Lounge, Fun Forum, Computer area.. etc..) To keep the main window of the new posts up, open the links in a new window, and work from there. It solves the problem of losing the page due to leaving it. (Because, the page is never left.. it remains showing the new posts (at that time) until you hit the Refresh button.)
